HYPNOSIS for Sleep
Sleep Better/Wake Refreshed/Have Energy for the day with Hypnosis
When you get restful sleep you feel better, look better, remember better and just function better in your day to day life. For some people though, getting enough restful sleep is a dream if you will. These people spend much of the night tossing and turning, they have difficulties falling asleep. and when they do manage to fall asleep, they wake frequently. They want nothing more than to be able to relax, turn off the mind, and be able to spend the night in blissful slumber. For such people, bedtime is a time that the subconscious mind says "Hey...now that it's quiet, you have to listen to me", and the subconscious suddenly brings every worry, every mistake, and everything that went wrong during the day to one's attention. Suddenly the feelings of relaxation they felt are gone only to be replaced by the same thoughts and fears spinning over and over in their mind. Sometimes people even worry about not being able to get to sleep which only makes things worse. Hypnosis can help

How a person might ask......how can hypnosis help me get to sleep so that I can stop dragging myself through the day? Hypnosis can help one fall asleep in a variety of ways. First, if you are a person who is busy and gets things done during the day your subconscious mind might take the opportunity at bedtime to let you know everything that went wrong, and everything you forgot to do, and everything that might happen that is bad or worrisome. Hypnosis can train the subconscious mind to relax or address needs and concerns before bedtime. That way, when a person goes to bed, their mind can stay relaxed and drift off.

A recent study in Sweden showed that with hypnosis, people spent 2/3 less time awake and their sleep was much deeper than those who did not receive hypnosis. The study demonstrated that those more highly susceptible to hypnosis got more sleep that those who were not as suggestible. The study did go on to say though that even those who were not highly suggestible reported that they were able to relax and get to sleep easier because the hypnosis they were listening to helped their brain relax so that they could drift off to sleep. This study is important because it does not just measure people's reported experience of being able to fall asleep. The study actually measured brain waves of the participants and demonstrated that the participants actually got more slow wave sleep, which tends to be deep and restorative sleep.

Just think about it...... Being able to get enough deep sleep to get through the day awake and alert with energy....... No hangovers from pills, no addictions, no sleep medication night walks, or sleep walking.

If you wake during the night frequently or don't feel rested when you do wake up, I highly recommend a sleep study which can help determine if the problem is biological or if something is obstructing your airway at night such as sleep apnea. A sleep study can rule out any biological causes of sleep issues such as narcolepsy. If the problem is not due to a biological condition hypnosis should help.
